MANOLESAKIS ESTATE of the Manolesaki family has been active in viticulture & winemaking since 1989, a pivotal period that coincides with the beginning of the vineyard of the Adriani area in Drama, with the cosmopolitan French varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah.<\/p>\n

Founders<\/h2>\n

George Manolesakis is one of the first to revive viticulture in this historic area, who, along with the help of his son Stavros Manolesakis, are personally involved in all the work of cultivating the vines and producing the wines of the estate. Furthermore, they ensure that respect for the dictates of nature is maintained alongside the optimization of viticultural and production process, so that the vines can yield the typical characteristics of the microclimate (terroir) of the area, which is also the initial goal of this effort.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css_animation=””]\n\t

Extension<\/p>\n\t<\/div> [vc_column_text css_animation=””]In 2004, the constant search led to new crops of Greek native varieties such as Malagouzia, Moschato Alexandria, Assyrtiko, Agiorgitiko, Moschomavro and Limnio while in 2014 the variety Pinot Noir was added. As part of the ongoing effort to showcase Greek varieties, the cultivation of Vidiano began in 2019, followed by Mavroudi in 2024.[\/vc_column_text]\n\t
